Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policy for patients who miss appointments balances the need to manage resources effectively with a fair approach to patients who may face unavoidable issues.
The following applies:
Advance Notice Requirement: Patients should cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance. This provides enough time to fill the slot with another patient if possible.
No-Show Fee: If a patient fails to show up without notice or cancels late (within 48 hours of the appointment), a 25% fee will be charged.
First-Time Waiver: Recognising that occasional lapses happen and as a gesture of goodwill to patients, we may offer a “first-time forgiveness” for no-shows depending on circumstances.
Emergency Exceptions: We allow flexibility for genuine emergencies (e.g., sudden illness or family emergencies), as well as consideration for patients with chronic or mental health conditions that may occasionally disrupt their plans.
Repeat No-Show Policy: If a patient repeatedly misses appointments, we may request prepayment for future visits and reserve the right to remove from the practice.
