GPs are the backbone of Irish healthcare, tackling both the physical impact of illnesses on their patients as well as helping the person manage the impact a diagnosis can have. They are a unique combination of specialist and generalist.

Recently, I had the honour of sharing my subspecialty expertise with a group of GPs, providing tips on diagnosis, treatment and referral pathways.
